Master Owen Gunn

Presently a 4^th Degree Black Belt under Master Toney “TJ” Lopez, Master Gunn received his first-degree black belt in 1990 from Master Tony Lopez and Grand Master Jhoon Rhee. Later, he was awarded his first-degree black belt in Wado Ryu under David Deaton, Nashville, TN, in 2006. A veteran of many local and international competitions (NBL, NASKA, AOK, TNT, TKO), Master Gunn has been awarded dozens of State championships, as well as multiple National Tournament Grand Champion awards. Master Gunn enjoys sharing his extensive experience and love for sparring with Retro Sport Karate’s students, as well as being an important part of training the members of RSK’s competitive team, Team Fierce Contact.
